Day of Planting

The U.S. Ecological Advanced Research & Conservation Hub held a "Day of Planting" at its facilities this past weekend.  We invited children from the local area to come in and help plant tomato and pepper seeds for the Community Greenhouse.

These kids not only had fun getting dirty but were able to quickly drop a seed into the hole they made in the dirt with their little fingers.  Before you knew it we had close to 2,000 seeds planted which will ultimately become the seedlings grown in the greenhouse.
